Helping you tell the right story to the right people

About me

Great communication starts with trust and honest conversation

Hi, I’m Keryn Fisher, the person behind Chatty Broad Consulting. After 17 years working in local government, I’ve learned how powerful clear communication can be—especially when things get complex.

I’ve spent my career helping senior executives, elected officials, and communities navigate challenges, build trust, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Now, I bring that experience to organisations that want to tell the right story to the right people.

What I’m known for:

  • Turning complexity into clarity.

  • Building strategies that actually work.

  • Being the trusted adviser when the pressure is on.

  • Making sure we are all on the same page.

When you are looking for someone who combines political savvy with practical solutions, let’s chat about how we can work together.

How I work

  • I’ll ask the right questions (sometimes a lot) to make sure we’re on the same page.

  • I’ll share insights so you can make informed decisions.

  • And I’ll work alongside you as we tackle your next issue, project, or strategy.

  • I will ensure we each know what we are doing to move forward.

What I bring to the table

  • Developing strategic plans to assist you to foster innovation and deliver outcomes for your community.

  • Engaging diverse stakeholders and supporting you to manage relationships effectively.

  • Serving as a politically astute, trusted adviser.

  • Providing frank and fearless advice.

  • Mitigating risk through analytical thinking and complex problem-solving and coming up with a way forward together.
